Being intern at the Multicultural Center have taught me a lot about team work. Our responsibility as interns is to create events for students across campus that will bring the community together. These events can be for both educational and social benefit. Working with a team of interns gave me the opportunity to become a better person not only on a personal level but also on a professional level. We create a number of different events throughout the year. One that had great significance was our Black Excellence event in Spring 2020, that awarded African American educators not only on Muhlenberg’s campus but also in the Allentown community. We also plan events like the Annual Block Party, and the Annual Senior Celebration. Attached below is a video of what we do on a regular basis at the Multicultural Life Center, and also some pictures of the Black Excellence Award Ceremony that I mentioned above.
